Plugfones are engineered to deliver quality music and double as decibel reducing earplugs. These beauties can provide an in-ear noise reduction of 27dB (silicone) and 29dB (foam).

Certified to ANSI S3.19-1974 noise reduction rating (NRR) and OSHA compliant. An official Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) is a certification of the number of decibels a noise level can be reduced by proper application of the Plugfones.
Australian WHS Regulations state that over the duration of an eight-hour shift a worker cannot be exposed to more than 85dB. For example, Plugfones with an NRR of 27dB can reduce the noise level from 110dB to 83dB which is below the WHS Regulation.
For environments with higher noise levels, Plugfones can be combined with over-ear protection such as earmuffs, allowing you to continue to listen to your favourite tunes without risk to your hearing.
